Did you know that for the first 7 years of the Queen's reign her official birthday was celebrated on the second Thursday in June but was switched to Saturdays when midweek celebrations became inconvenient. On her birthday she receives a 41 gun royal salute. It's very noisy. 

The Queen's Crown Jewels have been kept at The Tower of London since 1303 after they were stolen from Westminster Abbey.

When the Queen was coming to London it was very busy.  We couldn't see because lots of people were around the river so they put up a big screen so other people could see her. My family went with our friends. They have two children  - there was Georgie, who is 10 or 11 and Alice who is 3 or 4. Their mummy is called Liz. We went to a part of London which was for children and everything was free. We took some photos of the Queen.

The Queen loves her Corgis and her Horses. On her horses, she doesn't do any horse riding.
People sing praise to her. She invites anyone she loves. She loves her tea and biscuit.
She has completed her 60 years. It is her diamond jubilee these days.


Her children are called Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew.

About the Queen

The Queen has reigned over us for 60 years. Those 60 years have been glorious years for the Queen. The Queen was born in 1926, on the 21st of April. She was named Elizabeth Alexandra Mary. The Queen is 86 years old. My favourite part about the Jubilee weekend was when she was waving on the balcony with Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate and Prince Harry. I sang "God save the Queen".

She loves meeting children. She has four children - Charles, William, who got married last year, Anne and Edward. She has had a Silver Jubilee, a Gold Jubilee and this year she is having a Diamond Jubilee.
